Arielle Student Testimonials
"Aerial Arts are very exciting not only to watch, but also to interpret and learn. Four of my children have trained and performed in shows on the lira, tissue, and hammock I think it is very exciting to watch them grow, not only in their abilities, but also in their understanding of how certain skills are performed and mastered. My youngest daughter started at the age of seven and fell in love with aerial arts. Her sister incorporated her love for ballet by using her pointe shoes in her acts. Her older brother also dances and aerial arts not only strengthened him but also improved his technique in dance. My oldest son has used his orchestra training by including his violin in his acts. What is most important to note is that without a fantastic teacher, training would not have happened so quickly and with such love for the sport. Amanda took the time to get to know each of my children and how to work with them individually. She is a true inspiration to anyone who has ever met her. My children value the knowledge they have learned and their friendship they built with Amanda. It has given all of them the confidence to try new things and grow along the way. One way to describe working with Amanda is that any goal you set out to accomplish can be reached. Imagine working towards a goal and then literally "flying" high in the air."

“Amanda has been a real inspiration to my two daughters she trained on lira, tissue and conditioning. Amanda is quick in getting students in the air, acknowledging their strengths and skills while building their confidence. As a parent, I can appreciate her altruistic dedication to the students. She is a great role model, mentor and accomplished instructor.”

"It would be easier for most people to assume that, at age 42, I walked through the doors of Arielle Arts as the parent of an aspiring acrobatic child - but that was not the case. The aerial tissue class was, in fact, for me: the adult, whose giddy inner child was cut loose, and bolting straight for her first-ever aerial gymnastics training session!
In my first class, instructor Amanda Cortellesso, got me to achieve the closest I’ve ever come to doing a split (a miraculous feat unto itself!); she had me climb to the top of a 20ft tissue, taught me the basic mechanics of tissue work, and voila! The next thing I knew, I was strategically entangled - now inverted within two magical pieces of fabric…and very happily so!
Yeah, that’s how Amanda rolls: clear focus; confident, firm directives, powered by nearly a lifetime of practical hands-on experience. She is alert, aware of your every move, and the consummate professional trainer – just like you want (and need) her to be when you’re hanging 12ft in the air. Upside down. For your first time, ever.
Is this aerial class for just anyone, you ask? No, certainly not…unless, of course, you are someone who possesses a PASSION for experiencing life to the fullest, and someone who is open to reaping the benefits of a phenomenal, core building physical activity.
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ~Neale Donald Walsch
Indeed. And for some, that ‘end’ is at Arielle Arts - where exciting, new beginnings take flight! Literally."

"My 2 girls, ages 9 & 10, have been training with Amanda for almost a year. She has taught them that nothing is out of reach and to always believe in themselves. The strength and self-confidence that they have gained by working with her is amazing. She really took the time to know each of their strengths, weaknesses, and personalities to help them become the best arielle artist they can be. You can tell Amanda loves what she does and we are so thankful that she is sharing it with us. My 2 girls are members of Rhode Island first Arielle Performance group, and it is awesome to see them perform. To see your child with someone who is such a positive teacher and role model is one of the best things a parent could as for..."
